Lollipop Fun!!

I've been wanting to take some photos with a great, big, colorful lollipop for some time and finally got a chance this weekend. My daughter was more than willing to cooperate for this photo shoot since it involved eating candy!! I just love all the primary colors.

Playing with Texture

I love the look of textures applied to photos. It doesn't quite work with just any photo but with the right photo, a little texture can really add something special. Here's one photo I just edited with some new textures.

I've Been Tagged!!!

It's my first time playing tag in cyberspace! It seems that Carole Farmen from Carole Marie Photography has tagged me on her blog, which means I now must answer some questions which will give some insight about me...


The rules are:
1. The rules of the game get posted at the beginning.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
3. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they've been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

What I was doing 10 years ago: I was starting a new job with a very small consulting company. I was the 13th employee and the first female engineer in the company. Today, we have almost 100 employees (and lots of females) so it was a good move. I was also just meeting a wonderful man who is now my husband and his two lovely daughters, now my stepdaughters. I was taking lots of pictures but never would have imagined my passion for photography would grow to the point of opening my own portrait business.

Five things on my To Do List today:
Today , I happen to be in Ocean City Maryland for a two day holiday so this isn't my typical daily to-do list but here it is...
Go out to breakfast
Play minature golf
Walk the boardwalk
Drive 3.5 hours back to my home
Watch my stepdaughter's softball game

Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
Travel, travel, travel. There are so many places I want to see. I would buy a nice home for each of my closest relatives (and one for me as well of course).

Three of my bad habits: Not excersicing enough, spending too much money, biting my fingernails.

Five places I've lived: Jenkintown, PA; Landsdale, PA; Leesburg, VA; Fairfax, VA; Sterling, VA; Adamstown, MD.

Five jobs I’ve had: Answering system operator, cashier in a lumbar yard, shoe store salesman, clothing store sales, systems engineer

Back from Jamaica

We made it home from a week long trip to Jamaica. We had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful. We stayed at the Beaches Resort in Ocho Rios. The kids loved it. Here are some of the many pictures we took.
