A Spring Evening in the Goldenrod

This time of year, the lovely weed goldenrod seems to spring up everywhere. I kept passing it along the sides of the roads and was thinking how great it would be to get some pictures of my daughter amongst them. Some places there were large fields of the pretty yellow blooms. Finally, I had the time and opportunity to take the photos and I was not disappointed. Here are some of my favorites from the session.

About Me

My photo
I've been a photographer for decades but went 'pro' about four years ago now. My style is rather eclectic. I love natural light photography but also enjoy studio sessions as well. I love many different styles and looks and try to tailor my sessions to the individual. I am originally from the Philadelphia area. I am married to my very supportive husband, Bryan, who serves as my sounding board and sometimes assists me with shoots. I have a seven year old daughter who finds herself in front of the camera much more frequently than she would like. Shes a pretty good sport though and a beautiful model...she makes it easy to take great photos. I also have two stepdaughters who also serve as 'guinea pigs' for my photographic visions. I have always loved documenting our family life through photos. I am an avid scrapbooker and am rarely without my camera.
